These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GorkhaTV (the "Service"), operated by Adhar Limbu ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using GorkhaTV, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
GorkhaTV is a discovery platform that indexes publicly available YouTube videos from the Darjeeling region (Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Kurseong, Mirik and Siliguri) and organizes them by category and location. GorkhaTV does not host, upload, store, or stream any video file. Every video plays directly on YouTube via its own embedded player or a link to youtube.com. GorkhaTV only stores and displays public metadata — titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and similar information already published on YouTube.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a GorkhaTV account. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
Signing in is done through Google Sign-In. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure — any activity under your GorkhaTV account is treated as authorized by you. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms.
GorkhaTV lets signed-in viewers post comments on video pages. You're solely responsible for anything you post. By posting a comment, you grant GorkhaTV a non-exclusive license to display it on the Service. You agree not to post content that is:
We may remove any comment, and suspend the account that posted it, at our discretion and without prior notice.
Anyone can submit a YouTube channel for consideration. Submitting a channel does not guarantee it will be added — every submission is reviewed, and we may decline a submission or remove an already-listed channel for any reason, including if it no longer fits the Service's regional focus.
All video content displayed through GorkhaTV belongs to its original creators and/or YouTube (a Google product), and is subject to YouTube's own Terms of Service. GorkhaTV claims no ownership over any indexed video. If you're a rights holder and believe your content shouldn't appear on GorkhaTV, contact us and we'll review the request.
The GorkhaTV name, logo, and site design are the property of GorkhaTV and may not be used without permission.
GorkhaTV is supported by advertising, served through Google AdSense and Infolinks. See our Privacy Policy for how these third parties may use cookies or similar technology.
You agree not to: scrape or bulk-collect data from the Service; attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; bypass any rate limiting or access controls; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular video will remain available (availability is controlled by YouTube and the original uploader, not us).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GorkhaTV and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use GorkhaTV after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
