This Privacy Policy explains what information GorkhaTV ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. GorkhaTV is operated by Adhar Limbu.
If you sign in, we use Google Sign-In. We receive and store your name, email address, profile photo, and a unique Google account identifier. If you set a custom display name or bio in your profile, we store that too.
Comments you post, videos you save to your list, channels you follow, and any information you submit through the "Submit Your Channel" or "Claim this Channel" forms (channel details, your name, your contact email, and any message you include).
To power features like "Continue Watching" and personalized recommendations, and for our own internal analytics (page views, active sessions, watch time), we track activity tied to either your signed-in account or, if you're not signed in, an anonymous cookie that doesn't identify you personally.
Like most websites, our servers process your IP address and browser information as part of normal operation — mainly to prevent abuse (e.g. rate-limiting excessive requests).
GorkhaTV sets a session cookie when you sign in, and an anonymous cookie to power activity-based personalization if you're not signed in. In addition, our advertising partners — Google AdSense and Infolinks — and YouTube's embedded video player may set their own cookies to serve and measure ads or manage video playback. We don't control these third-party cookies; see the links in section 4 for their own policies.
GorkhaTV uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers listed above (to the extent needed to run GorkhaTV) or when required by law.
We keep your account and content data for as long as your account exists. If you request account deletion, we'll remove your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we're required to retain it for legal reasons.
You can delete your own comments at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, or to ask what data we hold about you, contact us at support@gorkhatv.site.
GorkhaTV is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
